Marina Bay Sands takes top prize in All Asia Dealers Championship
Marina Bay Sands won the overall prize for best team in the inaugural All Asia Dealers’ Championship at the G2E Asia show in Macau.
During the awards ceremony, held on Thursday May 21, 2015, the championship, hosted by Asia Gaming Brief and Reed Exhibitions, awarded the best of the best in dealers and teams in Asia.
The championship was designed to highlight the talent among Asia’s dealers, their customer service skills and technical ability.

The members of the best all-Asia team won a trip to Australia, while the participants from Sands China Macau will enjoy a trip to Las Vegas during the next G2E. The best dealers in each game and the dealers awarded with medals of excellence earned an individual prize of MOP5,000 in cash, while runners up received MOP2,500.
In all, 16 properties were competing during the three days of the inaugural edition of the championship, which aims to recognize and celebrate the front line of the gaming Industry.
Local Macau properties field two teams each, and include participants from Sands China, Melco Crown Entertainment, Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (SJM), Wynn Macau and MGM Macau.
Regional properties were represented by teams from NagaWorld (Cambodia), Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Resorts World Sentosa (Singapore), Solaire Resort & Casino (Philippines), City of Dreams Manila (Philippines) and Resorts World Manila (Philippines).
Josephine Lee, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions China said: “We are excited about this addition to the G2E Asia schedule of events which served to further integrate the Asian gaming industry and bring the different stakeholders together for a fun and exciting event. It makes sense to hold it during G2E Asia, which is the meeting point for regulators, operators, suppliers, industry associations and representatives from across the region.”
Tournament director Kate Young, remarked, “It’s wonderful to see the enthusiastic response from these regional casinos who are eager to showcase the talents of their front-line staff—the people who make the industry what it is and provide the all-important customer experience. This is an event that can only grow in stature and relevance going forwards.”

They need to know that the industry cares about them and is here to support them through their careers,” Rosalind Wade, managing director of Asia Gaming Brief said.
