Oneida Casino in Wisconsin has announced two expansion projects, one just coming online earlier in March, the other to begin later this year.
The recent expansion brings the mobile app from the Oneida Casino Sportsbook throughout Oneida Nation land.
“We are very excited to announce this significant expansion,” Oneida Gaming General Manager Louise Cornelius told Yogonet Gaming News. “As the first casino in Wisconsin to introduce sports betting, we are dedicated to providing the best experience for our customers and this is an improvement they have been asking for.”
The sports betting enhancement covers the entire Oneida reservation except for school land. “This strategic opportunity allows us to better meet the growing demands of legal sports wagering,” said Cornelius.
New users have to activate accounts at physical locations, among them the Oneida Casino, Main-Airport, or West Madison. Deposits and withdrawals will also be required from the same locations.
In February, the Oneida Indian Nation unveiled plans for additions to its Point Place Casino in Bridgeport. The $50 million development, to begin later this year, will double the gaming floor square footage, build a 100-room hotel, and expand dining opportunities.
