Wong to Promote Fisherman’s Wharf VIP Room

A VIP room at Macau Legend Development Ltd.’s Macau Fisherman’s Wharf will be promoted by a firm owned by Frank Wong, a relative of one of the operator’s executive directors.

Frank Wong, father-in-law of Macau Legend Executive Director Trainor-DeGirolamo, will promote the company’s VIP room at Fisherman’s Wharf for a term of two years, according to the Macau Business Daily.

Wong’s company, Sheng Li V Limited, will receive 57 percent of the room’s gross gaming revenue from license-holder SJM Holdings.

Hong Hock, a subsidiary of Macau Legend, will receive 2 percent of GGR for managing the room, plus a monthly fee per gaming table of HK$270,000 (US$34,600).

In addition, a company controlled by Wong, Seng Lei Loi Jewelry and Watches Company Limited, will rent a space in Legend Palace for the same two-year term, “for retailing purpose for a total sum of approximately HK$450,000” (US$57,600), according to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
