The World Poker Tour announced a partnership with leading online payments company Skrill USA Inc., making Skrill the official payment processor of the WPT.
Skrill has been moving money digitally since 2001, and more than 36 million account holders already use Skrill to send and receive money worldwide in 200 countries and 40 different currencies. As the official payment processor of the World Poker Tour, Skrill will interact directly with players and facilitate last-longer competitions at Main Tour events, offer special tournaments on ClubWPT.com like the Skrill $2,000 High Roller, host parties at select WPT events, advertise on WPT episodes and more.
