The International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) has announced it will hold its 40th International Gaming Summit in Belfast, Northern Ireland from June 20-22, 2023.
The event aims to bring together leaders from all global gaming sectors, providing operators, suppliers, attorneys, investors, bankers, regulators and other advisor delegates with an opportunity to meet and discuss the most important issues facing the industry.
Each day’s conference sessions will be followed by social events featuring regional cuisine and the warm hospitality for which Ireland is so well known, the IAGA said.
Events will include a “Welcome to Northern Ireland” reception in Belfast’s City Hall, a chance to explore the iconic pubs located in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter and a President’s reception and dinner at Hillsborough Castle, the official Northern Ireland residence of the British Royal Family.
“I am very pleased to host IAGA’s 40th Annual International Gaming Summit in Belfast, a vibrant and growing city in Northern Ireland with a rich culture and history,” said Ellen Whittemore, IAGA president and executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Wynn Resorts. “In keeping with our organization’s longstanding tradition of combining unparalleled education with exceptional networking opportunities, next year’s program will focus on gaming issues of international relevance and will be developed in collaboration with several of our members and conference partners. I look forward to welcoming our delegates to Belfast, introducing them to Northern Ireland and participating with them in lively discussions about the critical issues and opportunities facing global gaming.
“I’m also pleased to announce that on June 19, we will offer several optional social events that will provide attendees with the opportunity to visit Northern Ireland’s north coast. These optional events will include a golf tournament on Port Stewart Golf Club’s Strand course, private tours and tastings at Bushmills Distillery, and numerous bespoke tours of the Giant’s Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede bridge.
“We will provide additional details on these options shortly, and encourage our delegates to take advantage of the opportunity to visit this beautiful part of the country.”
The 40th IAGA International Gaming Summit will be hosted at Culloden Estate and Spa.
