Accel Acquires Century Gaming For $140M

Accel Entertainment, a leading U.S. distributed gaming operator, will acquire Century Gaming, Montana’s largest gaming machines operator, in a $140 million transaction expected to close by the end of the year.

Century Gaming Inc., Montana’s largest operator of gaming machines, will be acquired by Illinois-based Accel Entertainment Inc., a leading U.S. distributed gaming operator, for $140 million. The board of directors of both companies unanimously approved the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals. The two companies expect to generate about $220 million in combined revenue in 2021.

Century Gaming operates as Century Gaming Technologies, known for its popular “Gamblers Bonus” player rewards platform and “i-Rewards” customer relationship management system. The company controls more than 8,500 machines in 900 locations in Montana and Nevada, including taverns, convenience stores and small casinos.
