AGS Names Mexico/Latin America Chief

AGS has named Drew Pawlak as the company’s new general manager of Mexico and vice president of Latin America in a strategic leadership appointment.

Slot manufacturer AGS has named Drew Pawlak as general manager of Mexico and vice president of Latin America, responsible for leading business development, operations and sales efforts in Latin American gaming markets.

Pawlak joins the company with extensive experience working alongside gaming operators and regulators in Latin America, a key growth region for AGS’ advancing product portfolio. Most recently, he was senior vice president of business development for BMM Testlabs, where he worked for nearly 12 years and was instrumental in growing the business year over year.

“We knew we wanted a veteran executive who could champion our efforts in Latin America after gaining a successful business in Mexico through the Cadillac Jack acquisition,” said AGS CEO David Lopez. “The dynamic regulatory and customer landscape in Latin America are extremely important to our business, and Drew’s broad industry knowledge and long-term experience in gaming regulation will help position AGS for continued growth in the region.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Drew to our team and know his talents will help deepen and expand our relationships throughout Latin America and beyond.”

“The strong momentum and product diversity that AGS is building with its recent strategic acquisitions was a key driver in my decision to join the company,” said Pawlak. “With multiple opportunities to expand into new markets and unique product standouts like Colossal Diamonds and Count’s Kustom Blackjack, to name a few, AGS is one of the few suppliers that is truly in growth mode. I’m excited to help lead and contribute to a company that has so many prospects on the horizon, as well as an exceptional corporate culture that is widely renowned throughout the industry.”
