The Rainmaker Group recently hired 25-year hospitality and travel technology industry veteran Patrick Andres as managing director of Asia-Pacific operations. In his new position, Andres will direct operations, including maintaining and building on relationships with existing regional customers, including Solaire Manila and the recently added Resorts World Malaysia. Andres also will oversee new business and commercial partnership opportunities in the region.
Most recently Andre served as executive vice president for Duetto in Asia-Pacific, and he also held regional leadership positions with Travelport, Sabre Hospitality Solutions and Micros-Fidelio. A resident of Singapore, Andres has worked there as well as Hong Kong and throughout Canada.
