Angel of the Winds, Quinalt Beach Pick Scientific Games

Scientific Games announced major systems deals with the Angel of the Winds Casino and Quinalt Beach Resort and Casino in Washington.

Diversified gaming supplier Scientific Games announced two agreements to provide system solutions to casinos in Washington.

Angel of the Winds Casino & Hotel in Arlington, Washington, owned and operated by the Stillaguamish Tribe, has selected Scientific Games to provide a broad spectrum of casino-management systems solutions for its casino resort, replacing a competitor’s systems technology.

“We did our due diligence, and after 10 months of research it was apparent why Scientific Games is an industry leader; no other company can provide integrated solutions of this breadth and depth,” said Travis O’Neil, general manager of Angel of the Winds. “We are especially excited about using iVIEW DM and Elite Bonusing Suite applications to increase carded play, new player’s club registrations, and most of all, add excitement across our casino floor. It was clear to us that these products separated Scientific Games’ systems solutions well above the other options in the marketplace.’

In addition to the broad array of systems applications, Angel of the has added an additional 88 Scientific Games slot machines to its casino floor. The casino resort selected a mix of the Company’s Alpha 2 Pro Series Wave and Alpha 2 Pro Series V27/27 slot platforms, as well as a portfolio of high-performing game content including Dragon Rising, Precious Jade and Lucky Tree.

“Our extensive, integrated systems solutions will deliver a single view of the player, centralized management, and exciting new ways to attract, reward and engage players while streamlining operations at Angel of the Winds Casino,” said Derik Mooberry, Scientific Games’ group chief executive of gaming.

“At the same time, the casino resort has added some of our newest high-performing games and innovative game platforms that are designed to drive revenue and add excitement to their casino floor. We are truly honored by Angel of the Winds’ confidence in Scientific Games.”

The casino resort is installing nearly the entire Bally Systems suite to realize operating efficiencies and drive incremental revenue, including the following:

• The SDS slot-monitoring system, which provides crucial data in real time. SDS fully integrates with other systems, including the CMP player-tracking system.

• The iVIEW DMon-device messaging technology will be installed on each of the casino’s 1,127 gaming machines. The backward-compatible iVIEW DM solution enables gaming operators to present content, such as player account information, bonusing, promotional offers, directed marketing messages, drink ordering and employee functions, right on the main game screen or top screen at the point of play.

• Scientific Games’ iVIEW technology is also the player user interface for the Elite Bonusing Suite, featuring 12 interactive applications that add excitement on the casino floor through second-chance promotions and games, virtual-racing events, tournaments, flex rewards and more.

• The Servizio Mobile Service Solutions suite of intelligent applications that send critical messages to employees about the casino floor.

• The TableView table-management solution allows casino pit staff to enter and update player ratings digitally, replacing the manual ratings process and enabling casinos to reward table players as they do slot players.

• Business Intelligence uses powerful visualization, reporting, campaign management and predictive analytics to help casinos analyze the extensive data gathered from their business systems, providing actionable and analytically based business insights.

• CoolSign is a media-management and marketing solution, which manages a casino’s digital media enterprise from a central location.

In a separate release, Scientific Games announced the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino in Ocean Shores, Washington, has selected the company’s systems, games and interactive solutions for its new casino expansion.

The $25 million Quinault Beach Resort expansion project, scheduled to be complete later this year, will add 70 percent more casino space to accommodate additional slot machines.

“We went through a rigorous selection process before choosing to partner with Scientific Games,” said Quinault Beach Resort and Casino Chief Executive Officer Don Kajans, “and ultimately it came down to which solutions would help us increase player satisfaction and coin-in. The Scientific Games integrated systems and interactive portfolio will enable one single view of our player across multiple channels, providing us with powerful, actionable business intelligence that we’ll use to create even more engaging experiences for our patrons.”

As part of this major upgrade to its resort amenities, Quinault elected to upgrade their legacy Bally casino-management system with Scientific Games’ modern SDS slot accounting and player-tracking systems.

To elevate excitement on their larger casino floor, Quinault Beach Resort is adding 100 new Scientific Games slot platforms and games. On the expanded Quinault Beach casino floor, players will experience the Alpha 2 Pro Wave, Alpha 2 Pro V27/27, and Alpha 2 Pro V22/22 slot cabinets, along with engaging game titles including 88 Fortunes, Ca$h’m If You Can!, Precious Jade, Lucky Tree, and a number of premium licensed brands.

Quinault Beach Resort selected SG Universe, a holistic mobile solution with compelling content for land-based casino operators to connect with players everywhere, with a single view of the player through Core Systems Integration. Through award-winning platforms Mobile Concierge, VenueBet and Play4Fun Network, SG Universe enables casinos to increase player engagement between casino trips and reach patrons at home, on the go, and in the casino.

“The fact that Quinault Beach chose our games, systems, and interactive solutions for their casino upgrade reflects confidence in our solutions to deliver tangible business value,” said Scientific Games CEO Gavin Isaacs. “SG Universe integrates with our SDS system to provide a 360-degree view of the player—which is critical in attracting more revenue growth, increasing overall operational agility and enabling better customer experiences. We are greatly appreciative of this expanded partnership with Quinault Beach.”

In addition to the SDS slot-management solution, the operator is implementing the same solutions as Angel of the Winds, including iVIEW Display Manager, Elite Bonusing Suite and TableView.
