Aristocrat Places VLTs, System in Spain

Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.’s lottery division has placed its TruServ SBG system and a bank of its Viridian terminals in a VLT operation in Saragoza, Spain.

Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. announced that it has placed its TruServ SBG system, produced by the company’s Lotteries Division, at  operator Dioper 2000’s El Dorado Independencia salon in Zaragoza, Spain, running a bank of its casino-style Viridian terminals.

Each terminal houses a Player’s World Los Juegos Favoritos (Favorite Games) multipack currently offering a choice of six games.

Designed to appeal to the Spanish demographic, the initial pack incorporates a wide range of popular themes and mathematical formulae from Aristocrat’s global games library. Games include King of the Nile, Nile Princess, Genie’s Riches, There’s The Gold, Party in Rio, Big Red and other proven titles.

“Getting this product to market required a concerted effort from teams in Stockholm, London and Barcelona, as well as close cooperation from Dioper,” said Aristocrat General Manager-EMEA Pedro De Matos. “The switch-on went according to plan and integrated seamlessly.”

Raúl Rubio, vice president of Dioper 2000, added, “Our customers have responded very encouragingly to this new form of multigame on the gaming floor and we are proud to have pioneered its introduction in Spain.”

Ian Adams, Aristocrat’s senior sales manager for online and new technologies, said the system will be capable of deploying new games and enhancements remotely, without any technician present on site. “It also offers a complete back-office management system for the ultimate in secure, flexible, reliable and mass-market gaming distribution, with a range of analytical tools to monitor game performance and dispute management,” he said. “Furthermore, payments in/out can be tickets, coins, notes or card-based.

“This system has now been introduced across seven sites, owned by three different operators in Aragon, with more installations scheduled across the next few weeks.”
