Aruba’s Hyatt Regency hotel and casino has completed a $12 million renovation project that included an upgrade of its guest rooms and improvements to the gaming hall.
According to the Caribbean Journal, hotel rooms now have new individually crafted armoires, tile and stone quartz bathrooms, 65-inch flat-screen TVs and motion-activated sensors on the floors against décor done in “calming Caribbean design-inspired colors.” The property also completed structural and design enhancements at the hotel’s Piet’s Pier and Palms eateries.
The casino has 44 new state-of-the-art slot machines including Roulette Slot Machines, Quick Hit Super Wheel and 88 Fortunes Diamond from Scientific Games, Treasure Ball from Konami and Mighty Cash from Aristocrat, as well as 13 gaming tables, 148 slot machines and 13 video poker machines. All have enhanced safety protocols. The equipment is cleaned frequently and a green display advises guests when machines are ready for use.
Trankilo, a new adults-only pool features 10 spacious and private cabanas, and new wellness offerings such as “Rise and Shine” include daily yoga, meditation and Tai Chi classes to help attendees unwind.
