Empire Technological Group, dba Aruze Gaming Global, has promoted Kelcey Allison to global chief operating officer, and has appointed Mark Hettinger as the company’s new general counsel.
Empire changed its business-facing name to Aruze Gaming Global after acquiring all of the slot assets of the former Aruze Gaming America. Allison was CEO of Aruze Gaming America for nine years.
Allison brings over 25 years of executive management experience to his new role at Aruze Gaming Global. In addition to the top post at Aruze Gaming America, he was a senior vice president at Ainsworth Game Technology, CEO of GSL Gaming Group, regional vice president of sales, at Progressive Gaming International, and most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing for Play Synergy and Empire. Allison has previously been granted licenses in over 200 jurisdictions throughout the world.
Hettinger brings over 25 years of executive management and legal expertise to his new role at Aruze Gaming Global. Prior to joining the company, he was general manager of Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino. He also served as chief legal officer, general counsel and corporate secretary for Walker Digital Table Systems (WDTS).
Prior to WDTS, Hettinger held senior management positions at the industry’s largest suppliers, including International Game Technology, WMS Gaming, and Scientific Games, where he demonstrated exceptional proficiency in key legal responsibilities, licensing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
