Australia Seeks to Block Offshore iGaming Sites

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has issued blocking orders aimed at offshore websites that illegally offer online gaming and affiliate marketing.

The orders included the websites Pokies Parlour and Ninja Spins, and affiliate sites Pokies Online Casino, CasinoAus, Australian Casino Sites and AU Online Casino.

ACMA has requested that the country’s internet providers block the sites. The Authority made its first blocking request in 2019 and has since then blocked 426 illegal gambling websites.
