Baha Mar Names International Marketer Pariente

With more than 20 years' experience in international casino and resort marketing, Alex W. Pariente will lead Baha Mar Casino & Resort's international marketing division as executive vice president. The $3.5 billion integrated development in Nassau, the Bahamas, is expected to be the Caribbean's largest casino.

Baha Mar Casino & Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas, has named Alex W. Pariente as executive vice president, international marketing. The .5 billion integrated resort, which will open in late spring 2015, will offer the Caribbean’s largest casino, with 100,000 square feet of gaming, as well as 1,000 hotel rooms, luxury shopping, fine dining, nightlife, art galleries, golf, tennis and spas. In his new position, Pariente will develop the property’s international gaming clientele and build strategic marketing alliances and brand loyalty.

Most recently, Pariente served as executive vice president, international and domestic marketing for Wynn Resorts. He was a senior member of the opening teams for the Wynn Resort and Encore Las Vegas. He joined Wynn Resorts in 2004. Prior to that, Pariente was senior vice president of international marketing for Caesars Entertainment, developing business plans for the U.S. and international gaming markets in table games and slot play. He was named senior vice president of international marketing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in 2001. He also worked for Caesars International in marketing strategy and opening of the Conrad Resort & Casino in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

A native of Argentina and a U.S. citizen, Pariente is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
