Bally’s Corp. has completed its $15 million purchase of Bet.Works on June 1. Bet.Works supplies services to casinos in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, and Colorado.
The company paid half the price in common stock, to be held by Bet.Works shareholders for at least one year.
“With Bet.Works’ market-leading technology underpinning our interactive platform, we are well positioned to capitalize on significant opportunities in what continues to be a rapidly expanding industry, and we are looking forward to launching additional interactive offerings later this year,” said Bally’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Soo Kim in a statement.
Operating as a separate division, Bally’s Interactive will include Bet.Works’ sports betting operations; SportCaller, a global B2B free-to-play game provider; and Monkey Knife Fight, a daily fantasy sports site.
Bet.Works Founder and CEO David Wang will oversee bringing the company’s 190 employees into the Bally’s fold.
