Gaming equipment and lottery provider International Game Technology (IGT) announced April 21 that Beatrice Bassey will not stand for reelection to the company’s board of directors. Following her departure on May 11, IGT’s board membership will be reduced to 10.
IGT said Bassey is leaving due to “other professional commitments” as well as “challenges posed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.”
“On behalf of the IGT board of directors, I would like to thank Beatrice for her dedicated service and valuable contributions to the board. We wish her well in her future endeavors,” said Lorenzo Pellicioli, chairman of IGT’s board of directors.
