International gaming testing company BMM Testlabs announced that Floyd Barroga has been named vice president of technical compliance. Barroga will be heading BMM’s North American Technical Compliance Division, and he will also take a lead role in government relations for BMM North America.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Floyd’s talent and experience join the team,” said Travis Foley, executive vice president of operations for BMM Testlabs. “Going forward, he will play a pivotal leadership role in the continued development of our business. Floyd will be especially critical to helping BMM work closer and more effectively with regulatory bodies.”
Barroga most recently worked as the gaming technology manager for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, where he established the Gaming Technology Laboratory, 24/7 Network Operations Center and Agile Methodologies/JIRA across the entire agency, while also maintaining the Gaming/Technical Regulations. Prior to the commission, Barroga led the Regulatory and Gaming Compliance Division of Williams Interactive.
“I’ve admired BMM as a company for many years,” said Barroga. “They have established trusted relationships with the regulatory bodies, slot manufacturers and casino operators. I’m eager to join such a respected team and look to maintain and further strengthen the connections BMM has built.”
