A new Cirque du Soleil-style show, “BraVeau,” recently debuted at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. Produced by DreamCast Entertainment, the production features Bello Nook, known for his breathtaking performances on the Sphere of Fear and Wheel of Wonder.
The cast also spotlights individuals from Mongolia and Russia and other nations, including acrobats, dancers, stunt performers and aerialists.
To build excitement for the show in the Beau Rivage Theatre, a lift was used to suspend lifelike mannequins in the atrium ceiling on spinners.
Also in Biloxi, Harrah’s Gulf Coast hotel cut the ribbon on its $14 million renovation over Memorial Day weekend. General Manager Jonathan Jones said the project was completed in five phases, working on two or three floors at a time. Yates Construction finished the first phase late last year.
Jones noted the casino and restaurants were renovated in 2014 when the property was rebranded as Harrah’s Gulf Coast. He added the property plans to add amenities to attract new guests to South Mississippi.
