As the million Casino 36 prepares to open next year in Wolverhampton, U.K., a drive is underway to fill the 100 new jobs the project will create. Wolverhampton Council Deputy leader, Councillor Peter Bilson, said, “This project brings a significant number of jobs to Wolverhampton. It will kickstart regeneration on Southside and will prove a real asset to this area of city.” Casino 36 Group Manager Craig Dobson added, “Regeneration in Wolverhampton is steaming ahead and we are delighted to be playing a part in helping rejuvenate the city center.”
The council and Job Centre Plus are recruiting unemployed individuals for croupiers, cleaners and hospitality, bar and wait staff. An initial class of 15 croupiers are training at the National Gaming Academy.
Casino 36 will be the result of the Rubicon Casino in Temple Street expanding into the former Dorchester/Beach nightclub, which currently is empty.
