Jason Gastwirth, the president of entertainment for Caesars Entertainment, has joined the April 24 Episode of the UNLV Gaming & Hospitality Education Series.
Gastwirth will participate in the session, Non-Gaming Revenue: The ROI Details, which will examine the trends and opportunities for non-gaming attractions in the casino industry. As president of entertainment, Gastwirth directs company’s strategies and procedures on sports, entertainment and special events at all its nationwide properties.
Other speakers on panel, moderated by Stowe Shoemaker, the Dean of UNLV William F. Harrah College of Hospitality include: Tom Soukup, Sr. Vice President & Chief Systems Product Officer, Konami Gaming; Oliver Lovatt, Founder and Managing Director, Denstone Group; and Elena Shampaner, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc.
Also on April 24, Bob Boughner, a partner in Global Market Advisors, Boyd Gaming board member and non-gaming amenity expert, will off her advice on how to incorporate best practices for non-gaming revenue into your business plan.
Episode II of the UNLV Gaming & Hospitality Education Series starts at 1 p.m. on April 24 at the International Gaming Institute at UNLV’s Stan Fulton Building.
