Caesars Entertainment recently announced its Isle Casino Pompano Park racino in Florida will be rebranded as Harrah’s Pompano Beach this fall. Caesars will partner with the Cordish Companies to rebrand and renovate the property.

At a groundbreaking event for the announcement, Caesars Chief Executive Officer Tom Reeg said, “We don’t throw that name around lightly. It was a lot of discussion into what shall we call this, and Isle Casino was obviously a Harrah’s to us.”

The gaming, dining and entertainment complex will be the first of many projects Caesars and Cordish expect to develop over the next few years on the 223-acre trace in southwest Pompano Beach. The officials said Harrah’s Pompano Beach will include a 15,000-square-foot casino expansion with 750 slots and 30 table games; 580,000-square-foot, 4-level parking garage adding more than 1,500 spaces; and a gaming terrace adding 12,500 square feet of outdoor gaming.

Later, the multi-use property will include an office campus, several thousand apartment units and a cinema, shops, restaurants and a supermarket, plus a public park, walking and bike trails and a swimming lake.

Some elements of the property will operate under Cordish Companies’ LIVE! Resorts Pompano brand. Cordish founder and Chief Executive Officer David Cordish said, “With Harrah’s Pompano Beach at its heart, Live! Resorts Pompano will bring together casino gaming with best-in-class entertainment, retail, dining, hotel, residential, office, logistics and lifestyle amenities into one dynamic destination.”

He added the project “will provide thousands of new jobs and create a unique destination for residents and visitors to the region.”
