California Governor Re-appoints Two to Gambling Commission

California Governor Jerry Brown has named two members to new terms on the California Gambling Control Commission, Tiffany Conklin and Lauren Hammond (l.).

California’s Governor has appointed two members of one of the two commissions that oversee gaming in the Golden state.

Governor Jerry Brown reappointed Tiffany Conklin and Lauren Hammond to the California Gambling Control Commission.

Conklin, 34, has served on the commission since 2010. She was formerly an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University and served as a chief of staff for a California state senator for several years. Hammond, 58, is the principal of L. Hammond & Associates and served in the Sacramento City Council for several years.

Both positions require confirmation by the state Senate.
