Canadian First Nation Partners with Sports Interaction

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke will enter the online gaming industry through a partnership with Sorts interaction.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is getting into the online gambling business in partnership with Sports Interaction.

Licensing, outsourcing and related agreements are expected be signed shortly to operate online gaming site with Sports Interaction branding, the tribe said in a press release.

Grand Chief Michael Ahríhron Delisle, Jr. said the agreement gives the tribe the opportunity to partner with a successful company that has been a good corporate citizen in Kahnawà:ke.

“Sports Interaction has been a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licensee since 1999 and continues to operate on the Territory,” he said. .

The agreements strengthen the tribe’s jurisdiction and contains provisions that will create employment and revenues for the community,” he said.
