Casino in Lawsuit Against Contractors

The drawn-out lawsuit of the Colusa Casino continues against the contractors who built its hotel and expanded its casino. The tribe claims multiple construction defects and lost revenues.

The Colusa Casino in Northern California is in the fourth year of a lawsuit against the contractors who built the hotel and expanded the casino more than a decade ago.

The tribe filed suit in Colusa County Superior Court in 2011. The case is currently in Sacramento County Superior Court.

The tribe sued because of alleged construction defects, with damages estimated at $17 million and lost revenues estimated at $18 million, plus legal fees.
