Casino Nova Scotia to Get $10M Upgrade

The operator of Casino Nova Scotia’s properties in Halifax and Sydney will invest $10 million in capital improvements in the facilities by the end of 2015, the Canadian company has announced.

Great Canadian Gaming Corp., which operated Casino Nova Scotia properties in Halifax and Sydney, will invest some million in capital improvements at the properties by the end of next year, the company has announced.

The Canadian provincial government of Nova Scotia says the investment by Great Canadian is written into a renewed contract signed with the British Columbia-based company, according to CTV News.

Great Canadian Gaming Corp. will continue to operate the casinos for another 10 years under the deal. The company has been running the casinos on behalf of the Canadian province since 2005.
