Chile’s Marina del Sol Opens Outdoor Slots

After a year of being closed by the Covid-19 pandemic Chile’s Casino Marina del Sol is reopening with its slots out-of-doors on the terrace area once reserved for smokers.

It will operate nearly 140 slots ten hours a day. The casino held a reopening ceremony attended by the provincial governor of Diguillín and regional minister of the economy, who verified that health protocols were functioning.

Governor Roger Cisternas spoke at the ceremony: “The reopening of the casinos has been possible after the flexibilities adopted by the Step by Step plan. There will be about 50 workers who will be able to return to work on the premises within this first stage.”
