Spanish state-owned lottery operator Sociedad Estatal Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE) has shut down completely after Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced strict measures to fight the coronavirus, including a national lockdown.
According to SBC News, the sale of all tickets as well as the payment of prizes under €2,000 (US$2,140) have been suspended, while draws scheduled to take place after March 16 will be held at a later date.
