As part of a major reshuffle in its executive ranks, Australian gaming operator Crown Resorts has named longtime finance executive Alan McGregor as the firm’s new chief financial officer.

Ken Barton, former Crown CFO who was appointed group CEO in January, said McGregor’s “deep technical experience along with his experience in the hospitality, gaming and entertainment industries strongly align with this role. Alan will play a key role in supporting the board and me in implementing Crown’s strategy and I look forward to working with him.”

Other appointments were announced in January, with Helen Coonan appointed as Crown chairwoman and non-executive director and John Horvath as deputy chairman
