Danish casinos and gaming halls won't reopen until April 5 at the earliest due to extended Covid-19 restrictions, the government has announced. Related travel restrictions also will remain in place until then.

Danish Casinos to Remain Closed Until April

The Danish Health and Medicines Authority has announced that casinos, gaming halls and restaurants in the country won’t reopen until April 5 at the earliest due to extended Covid-19 precautions.

Some non-essential businesses and outdoor visitor attractions will be able to reopen in some regions, according to iGamingBusiness.com. In addition, certain groups of students will also be allowed to return to schools in select areas.

Travel restrictions also will remain in place until early April.
