Canadian table-game system company DEQ Systems Corporation announced organizational changes, including the naming of former Affinity Gaming CEO David Ross as chairman of the board and the election of several directors for the reformed board.
Ross, who left his role with Affinity last year, was elected last week to the board of the company, which is headquartered in Quebec and provides the gaming industry with table game systems, as well as live and online table game content.
Ross was CEO of Las Vegas-based Affinity for three years. He was chief operating officer of Affinity predecessor Herbst Gaming for two years, and prior to that spent 25 years with the former Coast Casinos, which was purchased by Boyd Gaming Corp. in 2003.
“I am very excited about DEQ’s future and privileged to be a member of its board,” said Ross. “DEQ’s loyal customer base, table systems and proprietary table game offerings provide a great platform to springboard into new markets and customers. DEQ’s pristine balance sheet and strong financial stability position the company well for continued success.”
In addition to the appointment of Ross as chairman, DEQ announced that all of the director nominees listed in its management information circular dated March 31, 2015 were elected as directors of DEQ.
DEQ confirmed that its board is now composed of Ross, Joseph E. Bertolone, Earle G. Hall and Alexandre Lattès.
