DRGT Installed at CAI Georgia

DRGT’s has installed its decentralized slot system at Casinos Austria International’s new casino in Batumi, Georgia. CAI says the system ensures “no potential single point of failure.”

Casinos Austria International has installed DRGT’s decentralized slot solution at its new casino in Batumi, a coastal resort known as the “Pearl of the Black Sea,” the companies have announced. The casino opened in October 2015.

CAI Operations Service Manager Helmut Wede said, “The positive experience gained throughout the years at other locations in Switzerland and Brussels meant that we know well the systems features that DRGT offers. The functionality, the way the systems is structured enables us to optimally manage our slots. The decentralized system needs no central server—there is no potential single point of failure. DRGT systems are extremely reliable.”

Casino International Batumi features 13 live gaming tables and 105 gaming machines including electronic roulette.

DRGT European Sales Director Joost van Egeraat said the installation went “like Swiss clockwork,” and added his firm is “dedicated to providing the right systems solutions for all our customers from our modular and flexible range. The vibrant city of Batumi is becoming a magnet for the casino industry and the fact that we installed our systems in two brand new casinos there last year shows that we are at the forefront of systems technology.”
