EASG Conference Set for September

The European Conference on Gambling Studies and Policy Issues will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal, September 13-16.

The European Association for the Study of Gambling announced that the 2016 edition of the European Conference on Gambling Studies and Policy Issues will be held September 13-16 at the InterContinental Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.

Authors wishing to present a paper during the course of the conference must submit in advance, as a requirement for acceptance, a summary or abstract of the proposed content with a maximum extension of 250 words, setting out the general interest of the paper for the participants at the conference and describing the contents of the presentation.

Abstracts may be submitted until June 1. However, early submissions are encouraged. The abstracts will be considered by the organizing committee in three phases.

Phase 1 – until January 1, 2016

Abstracts that are submitted before January 1 will be considered before February 1. The applicants will be informed on the results so they can take advantage of the early registration discount when they transfer the registration fee before March 1.

Phase 2 – January 1 until March 2016

Abstracts that are submitted between January 1 and March 1 will be considered before April 1, and the applicants will be informed on the result so they can take advantage of the discount by paying the registration fee before June 1.

Phase 3 – after March 1

All other abstracts will be considered on an ongoing basis April-June.
