Georgia-based Class II gaming machine supplier Eclipse Gaming Systems has named Boris Amegadjie as the company’s new chief executive officer.
Amegadjie is a gaming veteran who most recently served as executive product management for slot-maker WMS Gaming, now owned by Scientific Games. He developed and directed WMS’s product strategy in Class II, Washington central determination and Canadian VLT, and led multiple M&A activities and integrations.
Amegadjie also managed the product management teams at WMS responsible for casinos, systems and international product lines, propelling revenue of $300 million per year for the company. Prior to WMS, Amegadjie was director of product management for 3COM, a Fortune 1000 manufacturer of IP-based wireless products for voice, data and video traffic, where he drove revenue and margin growth while reducing product time to market.
“Boris is an accomplished and passionate leader with an impressive track record of strategic development and revenue growth,” said Greg Drew, principal owner of Eclipse Gaming Systems. “Boris brings a new dimension to our efforts as the scope of our product offerings and market penetration expands. As we continue to position the company for the next phase of growth, I am confident that Boris’ tremendous industry experience, innovative ideas and process improvements will drive the transformation of Eclipse and lead our company and our customers to new levels of success.”
“I’m honored to have been chosen to lead Eclipse Gaming Systems into the next exciting era of the company,” said Amegadjie.
“I look forward to working with our executive team and our employees as we develop new product lines and drive growth for our company, as well as for the entire Class II tribal gaming ecosystem as it transitions to local, mobile and social offerings.”
