Evolution to Debut Hybrid Systems at ICE

Evolution Gaming will showcase new products in its line of hybrid table game products at next week’s ICE Totally Gaming trade show.

Evolution Gaming will use next week’s ICE Totally Gaming trade show to showcase several new products in its line of live hybrid online table game products, which beam a live-dealer game to online, tablet and mobile users.

Marking their debuts at Evolution’s stand N2-250 are the new multi-camera Live Baccarat range, including Live Baccarat Squeeze; Live Caribbean Stud Poker; and Evolution’s Dual Play Roulette convergence solution.

In addition, visitors can preview the next Games Marketing title in the pipeline from Evolution—Live Double Ball Roulette. All games run on desktop, tablet and smartphone using Evolution’s new User Interface, also on show for the first time.

Live Baccarat Squeeze uses 15–18 HD cameras to recreate the thrill and suspense of baccarat, including close-ups of the squeeze itself. The all-new Squeeze game first went live as a dedicated table in December at William Hill’s Macau online brand (macau.williamhill.com), and is now available to all operators as a generic shared table.

Two other game variants complete the all-new Live Baccarat line-up: the generic 4-camera Standard Live Baccarat; and a fully customizable Multi-Camera Live Baccarat option for operators with dedicated tables.

As with the company’s Immersive Lite Roulette solution, the latter option allows licensees to choose the number of cameras, shot angles and sequences they need to create a unique online presentation style for their brand.

“The new baccarat range sets a new world standard,” said Helen Hedgeland, Evolution’s marketing director. “All game variants feature bean-shaped tables, cards dealt face down and a wide choice of roads and extra side bets—just like at the tables in a real Macau casino. All games also use our brand-new UI, which enables a more cinematic experience and, through the use of multiple cameras, immerses players in the action and suspense.

“The squeeze is the ultimate example of that. It has already attracted a significant number of new players to our tables and is prolonging playing sessions.”

ICE will also showcase two unique Live Casino games created by Evolution in partnership with Games Marketing—Live Caribbean Stud Poker and Double Ball Roulette.

Evolution’s Live Caribbean Stud Poker is the only online live version of this hugely popular poker game available from a major licensed live casino provider.

The Games Marketing connection continues with a preview of Double Ball Roulette, set for release Q2 2016. In Double Ball Roulette, two balls are shot from a special patented device fitted around a conventional Roulette wheel. Hedgeland said, “This is a uniquely exciting Roulette variant that is proven to significantly increase play and hold. The game doubles the fun and adds thrilling new bets and payouts of up to 1,300 to 1.”

Bringing together the land-based and online worlds is Dual Play Roulette, Evolution’s new convergence solution. The Dual Play table allows players at an on-premise table in the land-based venue to be joined in the same games, at the same table, by an unlimited number of online players.

The Dual Play table is rigged with a number of cameras to capture the live action. Where jurisdictions allow, the live game video can be streamed to other areas of the casino, such as bars and restaurants, to allow casino visitors to play on mobile devices while away from the table. The solution is already live at Dragonara Casino in Malta and further deployments will launch at other land-based casinos during 2016. Visitors to the show will be able to view the live feed from Dragonara and play on their smartphones and tablets.

“ICE is just the start of what promises to be a momentous milestone year for Evolution,” said Hedgeland. “We have recently purchased our studio building in Riga, which gives us even more space to extend the Live Casino studio facilities and solutions available to our licensees. We have further exciting new products in the pipeline, including further games licensed from Games Marketing and Scientific Games. Everyone here is very much looking forward to the next decade of Evolution.”
