American Chance Casinos part of the deal
Hong Kong-listed developer Far East Consortium International Ltd. has acquired a firm with gaming and hospitality interests in the Czech Republic and hotels in Europe.
According to GGRAsia, Trans World Corp. is a Nevada-incorporated firm with two four-star hotels and one three-star hotel in Germany; one four-star hotel in Austria; and one four-star hotel in the Czech Republic. It also owns and operates three casinos in the Czech Republic, all under the American Chance Casinos brand.
The investment was not disclosed, but Far East Consortium noted in a March filing that the consideration of the deal “shall not exceed US$42 million” with the possible exception of adjustments for “dissenting” shareholders.
