Former Lawmaker to Lead Casino Association of Indiana

A former Indian lawmaker, gaming commissioner and founder of a public affairs lobbying group, Matt Bell, has been selected president of the Casino Association of Indiana.

Matt Bell, a former Indiana legislator and founding chief executive officer of the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana has been chosen president of the Casino Association of Indiana.

In addition to serving several years in the Indiana House, where he was an expert on alcohol and gaming issues, Bell served for four years on the Indiana Gaming Commission, a term that he completed last year.

Bell is the founder of Catalyst Public Affairs Group, a lobbying firm that will also be a consultant to the association.

In a press release Bell called the state’s gaming industry “a vital contributor to our state’s economy. It supports employment and spurs economic development in communities throughout our great state.”
