About 300 janitorial and cleaning workers of Foxwoods Resort Casino will vote this week on whether to unionize, which would be an implicit rejection of the Mashantucket Pequot tribe’s arguments against.
Unite Here New England has been organizing towards this vote for more than year, according to it political director, Ethan Snow.
The union already represents dealers, bartenders, beverage servers, mechanics and slot technicians.
So far, Foxwoods closest neighbor and rival, the Mohegan Sun, has not unionized.
