G2E 2014 Kicks Off With Adelson, Wynn

The largest edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in years launched on Monday with more exhibitors and attendees registered since 2007. The highlights of the show will be keynote presentations by gaming visionaries Steve Wynn, chairman of Wynn Resorts, and Sheldon Adelson, chairman of Las Vegas Sands.

Global Gaming Expo, the gaming industry’s 14th annual trade show in Las Vegas, will unite the greatest collection of industry leaders in the show’s history this fall, including: Sheldon Adelson, Thomas Graf, Patti Hart, Jim Murren, Jamie Odell and Steve Wynn. The annual event—known as Global Gaming Expo (G2E)—takes places September 30 to October 2 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas and will feature the largest expo floor since 2008.

“We’re thrilled to bring together an impressive group of industry leaders who have helped to lead the growth of our industry into the economic engine it is today,” said Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the American Gaming Association (AGA). “We look forward to hearing from each of our speakers about how we can strengthen gaming in the years to come.”

Adelson and Wynn will each offer exclusive keynote addresses to G2E seminar attendees on Tuesday, September 30 and Wednesday, October 1, at 4:30 p.m. each day, respectively. Additionally, G2E will bring together global leaders for conversations about the state of gaming:

State of the Industry: Operators on Tuesday, September 30, featuring:

G2E’s show floor will be its largest in five years, showcasing more than 450 exhibitors from around the world. In addition to announcing new Hollywood and other entertainment-themed slot machines before they hit casino floors across the country and world, G2E will feature conversations with industry leaders on the most important industry topics, such as skill-based gaming trends and consumer behavior; capturing the millennial customer; and big data and cyber security.

In partnership with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association, G2E will also introduce its first-ever Hotel Conference, which will deliver a full spectrum of hotel and lodging content covering the latest trends in revenue management and technology and spotlight non-gaming amenities, products and services that resorts need to drive traffic and create the ultimate guest experience.

G2E will also introduce an expanded roster of networking opportunities as part of a broader effort to provide attendees with more valuable and unique opportunities to make solid business connections and share insights and experiences. Organized by the AGA and Reed Exhibitions, G2E is the premier trade show and conference for the international gaming entertainment industry. G2E takes place September 30 to October 2 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

“G2E has always been an event shaped ‘by the industry and for the industry’,” said Ron Rosenbaum, chief operating officer of the AGA. “Our delegates have made it clear that they are looking for G2E to provide venues allowing them to meet with industry colleagues to network and share best practices. Our attendees will have no shortage of outstanding opportunities to network.”
