GamblingCompliance Appoints Kilsby to Top Americas Post

GamblingCompliance has appointed James Kilsby, a seven-year member of the organization, to the position of managing director-Americas.

Business intelligence and information supplier GamblingCompliance has appointed longtime employee James Kilsby as the new managing director-Americas, where he will lead the company’s ongoing expansion into the U.S. market.

Kilsby joined GamblingCompliance in 2006 and was instrumental in setting up its North American presence in 2010. In his previous role as managing editor-Americas, he built up GamblingCompliance’s U.S. content to include coverage of all major issues related to U.S. gambling policy at federal, state and tribal levels.

“I am delighted to announce James’ promotion to MD Americas,” said David Morgan, GamblingCompliance’s CEO and founder. “After seven years with GC in both London and Washington, his knowledge of the global regulatory and legislative framework across the gaming industry is unparalleled. James, in addition to coordinating our award-winning editorial coverage, will now also oversee the accelerating expansion of our business in America.

“With regulated online gambling now a reality, and new expansion opportunities emerging in both national and international jurisdictions, I have never been more confident in our ability to provide the context our subscribers need to digest the implications of regulatory change.”
