George Leaves Michigan’s FireKeepers Casino Hotel

FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan announced its chief executive officer, Kathy George, has accepted a position as president at a casino in North Carolina. George served as chief executive officer for five years.

George said, “It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of the FireKeepers Casino Hotel team. I will never forget the many accomplishments we have achieved, as well as the memories and relationships established here.”

Jamie Stuck, tribal council chairperson of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, owners of FireKeepers, said, “Kathy George has been instrumental in advancing FireKeepers’ stellar reputation and concentration on customer satisfaction.”

Last year, Crain’s Business named George as one of Michigan’s most influential women.
