GLI Awarded ISO/EIC Accreditation

Gaming Laboratories International has received continued ISO/IEC accreditation for its labs in New Jersey, Nevada, Colorado, British Columbia and Macau.

Leading gaming testing company Gaming Laboratories International announced that the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) has awarded the company’s locations in New Jersey, Nevada, Colorado, British Columbia and Macau continued accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, which helps ensure that testing is done consistently regardless of laboratory location.

Laboratories that are accredited to this international standard have proven they are technically competent to carry out tests and/or calibrations.

GLI Quality Management Systems Global Manager Mark J. Mensik said, “Continuance of these accreditations demonstrates the daily dedication to quality from all GLI personnel. A2LA thoroughly assessed all aspects of our quality management system and the technical implementation of our testing, inspection and certification procedures. The successful conclusion is a credit to the professionalism of all personnel and a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to our clients.”

The accreditation renewal is the culmination of a two-month assessment process performed by A2LA. During the assessment, GLI’s world headquarters in New Jersey also received continued accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020:2012. ISO/IEC 17020 outlines specific requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspections. The laboratory earned continued accreditation to ISO/IEC 17065:2012, which specifies requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services, as well.

These accreditations provide the basis for GLI’s quality management system across all 20 laboratory locations worldwide, and ISO/IEC 17065:2012 provides the foundation for the Gaming Labs Certified mark program.
