The annual Indian Gaming Report, produced by Nathan Associates’ Principal Economist Alan Meister, is one of the barometers for tribal gaming in the United States. Although many tribes don’t publicly report their revenues, Meister is able to back out regional revenues to estimate the health of tribal government gaming across the country. Presented by Casino City, the Indian Gaming Report this year declared that tribes garnered over $30 billion in revenue, a record, and almost equal to the revenue produced by commercial casinos in the U.S. Copies of the report are available at IndianGamingreport.com.
