It was just a few years ago when MGM Resorts was clinging to solvency. Massive debt had threatened the viability of one of gaming’s largest companies, but wise financial moves made the debt manageable and new projects began popping up left and right. MGM President Bill Hornbuckle has been a busy man, mostly responsible for the company’s expansion. He is in Las Vegas this week for the opening of the Park and the T-Mobile Arena, while he works on other projects like MGM National Harbor in suburban Washington D.C. and MGM Springfield in Massachusetts, not to mention the massive project in the Cotai region of Macau. Hornbuckle also talks about the new plans to attract younger customers and what’s next for one of gaming’s most respected companies. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at his office in Bellagio for a feature story in the April issue of the magazine.
