GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Bruce McKee, CEO, Firekeepers Hotel & Casino

This week, the GGB Podcast visits with Bruce McKee the CEO of Firekeepers Hotel and Casino in Battle Creek, Michigan, on his long history in the gaming industry and his pending retirement.

Bruce McKee joined the gaming industry as a CPA out of Philadelphia when he joined a casino in Atlantic City. After working extensively with several casinos there, he worked for Donald Trump for several years, eventually leaving as his CFO. Moving to Harrington Park in Delaware, McKee was working for Full House Resorts, which later moved him to Michigan to help open a casino owned by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians. When the tribe bought out the Full House management contract early, McKee was retained as CEO. Now, in his eighth year as CEO, McKee is retiring and turning the reigns over to Brian Decorah, who has been with the casino for a couple of years. McKee spoke about his long career in gaming with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at his offices in Firekeepers in Battle Creek, Michigan, in late August.
