When AGS was bought by the Apollo investment group—the same group that owns Caesars Entertainment—things changed dramatically. David Lopez was brought on to lead the innovative manufacturer and build a team to take it to the next level. Immediately after taking over, AGS bought the Cadillac Jack Class II company, hired former Shuffle Master and Bally marketing executive Julia Boguslawski, and launched a table-game division that is today creating some interesting and successful products. At the recent GameOn conference produced by AGS, the company outlined its past, present and future. Lopez and Boguslawski sat down with GGB Publisher Roger Gros and Editor Frank Legato in early June to talk about the conference and the company.
