Native American casino design is a particular niche in the architecture industry. Designers must be sensitive to tribal history and culture, while employing the latest and greatest of casino design to their clients. David Nejelski, was recently promoted to creative director and a principal for TBE Architects, formerly Thalden Boyd Emery. Nejelski has a long history of success in tribal gaming design and counts among his successful projects Harrah’s Ak Chin in Arizona, San Manuel and the Chumash casino in California, Firekeepers and Soaring Eagle in Michigan, the Wildhorse Casino in Oregon, and many more. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at G2E in October.
