GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Hector Fernandez, President, Americas, Aristocrat Technologies

When Hector Fernandez was named president of the Americas division of Aristocrat Technologies, the company had experienced a long line of success. As the company moved into its new Las Vegas headquarters Fernandez was charged with keeping up the momentum. And when the pandemic hit, Fernandez doubled down on game development by keeping his staff employed and creative. He explains why that decision was made and what benefits he expects will flow from it in the future. Fernandez spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros where about where Aristocrat stands in route operations, VLTs, Class II gaming and a possible entry into sports betting, over Zoom from his home in Las Vegas in December.
