The upcoming Supreme Court decision in a case brought by the state of New Jersey is bound to have an impact on the legality of sports betting in the U.S. Kate Lowenhar-Fisher, a member of the Gaming and Hospitality Practice Group of Dickinson Wright, is working with clients to understand how the nuances of any decision rendered by the court will affect the individual states. As a Nevada attorney, Lowenhar-Fisher believes other states should just emulate the successful Nevada regulations and processes, but understands that is not likely to happen.
