Grand Casino Mille Lacs Serves Beer, Wine

Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia, Minnesota recently began serving beer and wine. The property had been dry since it opened in 1991. General Manager Tracy Sam said the change is due to customers' requests. A full bar will be available this spring as the property remodels its food and beverage venues.

After 27 years as a dry casino, Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia, Minnesota announced it now serves alcohol. General Manager Tracy Sam said the change is the result of customer requests. “Yes, it has been one of the top questions that we receive from our guests. And, we’re just happy that we can bring this amenity to our property here at Mille Lacs.”

Beer and wine currently are available. A full bar will be offered this spring as part of a remodeling project at the casino’s food and beverage venues. “We will be serving in our B3 restaurant, our 1991 Kitchen and also our Plum Restaurant,” Sam said. She added customers will be able to carry their beer and wine with them throughout the property.
