GTECH Appoints Human Resources SVP, Sales Manager

GTECH has named Donna Kimmel as senior vice president of human resources, and Erik Mena as sales manager for Central America and the Caribbean.

Casino and lottery supplier GTECH has named Donna Kimmel, a longtime executive of Texas Instruments and Sensata Technologies, as the company’s new senior vice president of human resources. The company also announced that Erik Mena has been named sales manager for the Central America and Caribbean regions.

Kimmel will be responsible for overseeing human resources operations for GTECH’s Americas and International regions as well as the centralized Products and Services organization and corporate-level human resources functions. She will report to GTECH Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Public Affairs Robert K. Vincent.

In a career spanning more than 25 years, Kimmel held various senior human resources leadership positions with Texas Instruments and Sensata Technologies. Most recently, she was senior vice president and global chief human resources officer at Sensata Technologies (formally the Sensors & Controls Business at Texas Instruments), where she oversaw a 90-person global Human Resources team.

Prior to Sensata Technologies, Kimmel was vice president of worldwide human resources, sensors & controls business at Texas Instruments.

In Mena’s new role, he will provide dedicated support and consulting services to GTECH customers in Latin America and the Caribbean, reporting to Jessica Luna, the sales director for those regions. Mena is based at the GTECH office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

As a marketing professional with more than 10 years of experience in the Central America and Caribbean regions, Mena specialized in brand development and management, supply chain management, mergers and acquisitions, and international negotiation strategies.
